Used what you learned

Just because it's summer and formal classes may not be in session, keep the knowledge base you've gained from this year's studies in tact. Practice your math, keep up your reading skills and get some exercise. The Internet can be of great support in this respect. There are history movies, ebooks, etc. that can help you stay on track and prepare you for next fall's classes.

Have a great summer and used what you've learned.

"100 Things Every Online Student Ought to Know"

Online Communications
Point #42

Did you know that your online course contains many tools and ways to communicate with your fellow online classmates and your instructor?

Your are not alone in a online course. You are part of a live community even though it is cyberspace. Online courses do run on a timeline and some may require intra-communications with other online course-mates and your instructor. Communication includes email, forums, live chats, webcast and document exchange. Many learning management systems and coursewawes such as: Education202, Moodle, eCollege, Blackboard, WebCT, Desire2Learn, etc, have these tools and more. Bulletinboards and announcement blocks are also a part of the communication avenue. So know that you are never alone in your online course. Be willing to use these tools. They will add to your success.

At Christina International High School communication also takes place by phone. We are more than willing and ready to communicate with our students.

Should you keep a special external storage device to organize your online course work?
